Facebook Friday 11/24/17

Hey, hey! It’s Facebook Friday! Also known as Black Friday where people get crazy to shop for steals! I don’t need anything this year so I’m not participating but even if I did it would definitely take place online.

Facebook Fridays is a weekly segment of RT where I share some fun stuff I observed on Facebook this past week. I share a fun meme or screenshot, a video that resonated in some capacity and a photo of my own.

This week was all about videos and pictures. I did not see a meme that struck out for me so here’s a bit of what I did share.

First, we have another animal video. I saw it and thought, this is just too surreal! It also was added to my bucket list to see in person eventually:

Daredevils indeed right?!?

Secondly I shared 3 photos. One taken my me and the two others taken by my husband. We both have Pixel phones but he has the newest model and man, does it work well!

The first is our baby (she’s the youngest cat) Isabel and then the middle picture is our wood stove burning for the first time since we moved in over a year ago. Finally got it maintenanced and its awesome! Lastly, is the jerk looking as cute as can be!

I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving or a Happy Thursday (depending on where you are in the world) and I look forward to sharing my stories with you next week as well as catching up on yours this weekend.

  1. Wonderful FF, Nel. Loved the video, but especially your pics! So cute! We burn wood too and it’s one of my favorite things about winter. Couldn’t imagine winter without it. πŸŽ„β€πŸ’šβ€

    1. Glad you liked the video and my cats are something else haha. That’s so cool that you have a wood burner! We were excited when we got it maintenanced and it’s turning out to be wonderful on those chilly nights. 😁 πŸ’•

    2. Remind me to tell you the story about our last visit from our stove cleaning guy after an animal got in. Ugh! The worst experience ever! 😯 I need to email you with the Vitamix story too!

  2. So much animal goodness here! The quest for salt is pretty strong, eh? The cats are adorable, though the jerk looks like he’s scheming. haha You will love the wood stove. We have one that was built in the 1860’s and when the heat goes out or we just feel like a cozy warm evening, it’s fantastic. You’ve inspired me, I’ll do a b&w and color comparison of the stove. Oh the things I photograph!

    1. Yes! The salt force is strong within these goat relatives! πŸ˜‚ The jerk is always scheming especially when food is involved. He’s so cute though! I’ll have to check out your photos! Glad I could be of some inspiration for you today. 😊 1860s?! That’s so cool!
