TBD… Next Thursday

This is me apologizing for not getting an Endangered post out today and to say that at this point in time, I am most likely skipping it altogether. My brain is essentially in a vegetative state. I had a doctor’s appointment this morning so I came into work 2 hours after my start time and was bombarded with all kinds of orders needing entered, shipments needing to go out, bills needing to be paid and SO many phone calls; and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I am currently drowning my exhausted brain with chocolate covered almonds and counting the minutes til I go home (45 minutes if you were were curious).

I have this idea to mix Endangered Thursdays up by talking about certain processes that animals and even plants experience to survive that humans don’t. For example, hibernation and what happens when an animal hibernates except not hibernation because mostly everyone knows what that is. I saw a really cool video that got my brain synapses thinking in this direction to mix up the blog a little. I’ll still feature animals of course, and sometimes plants, maybe 3 times a month and then processes once a month. I haven’t quite decided quantity yet but I wanted to get your opinions.

So if this is something you would be interested in reading, please let me know in the comments below. And again, I’m sorry! I’m a slacker. I’ll do better next week. But! I will, however, catch up on all your lovely posts from today so look out for comments coming soon to your blog near you.

  1. I think this is a great idea! Plants are so important and I’d love to learn more about them too. I’d also love learning more about animals and how they adapt, etc. Nice idea, Nel. ❀ I’m excited! Now go home and get some rest! πŸ˜πŸ˜‰

  3. I don’t think you are a slacker at all! You kept making blog post very diligently according to your fixed schedule which I am really crappy at lol
Although I haven’t been able to follow your posts as much as I used to/I would have liked in the last couple of months, I was simply burnt out in a way, but I will do better this year too! and I will be looking forward to your endangered posts with new additional ideas ❀

  6. Ah, the busy days at work… πŸ™‚

I love the sound of expanding on endangered posts.. I recall seeing a documentary about a beetle in the desert who collected water on its back and then in some unreal ways guided the gathered liquid into its mouth… it blew my mind in so many ways! Unreal πŸ™‚
