Facebook Friday 7/28/17

Hey, hey! It’s Facebook Friday!

Facebook Fridays is a weekly segment of RT where I share some fun stuff I observed on Facebook this past week. I share a fun meme or screenshot, a video that resonated in some capacity and a photo of my own.

So let’s get to it!

There weren’t any crazy funny memes this week but I did come across and share a picture of a book fountain that I was happy to find out, is located in my home state of Ohio. I’ve added to my bucket list for the next time I find myself driving South because it’s definitely something I have to see.

Next up, I saw this video and I’ll admit I may have stopped an drooled a bit because I mean… hot guy.. But what really amazed me was his exercise routine where his workout partner was his dog! I mean talk about friendship fitness!

And finally, I shared a photo of my cat being the picture of what I wish my life could be on the couch. I was showing the husband all your wonderful comments on the tea post and she was just not impressed.

How about you?? Did you see anything cool in your social medias this week?? Let me know in the comments below and feel free to share me links!

  1. Omg, the book fountain is fab!!! I really wanna see it✨ And your cat…my gosh, so adorableπŸ’—πŸ’•
Thanks again for a fun post! Hope you have a great weekend!!

    • Thanks Noriko πŸ™‚ Her name is Isabel and she is something else, haha. The fountain is so fab! I saw it and was like omg, I want one in my hard!

        • Exactly! I wrote this post so fast too cause I just finished that book Wildfire and I think I had a small brain aneurysm cause I’m trying to come back into the real world and process the fact that I have responsibilities hahahaha

          • Oh, what a coincidence!! I just finished the Pillars of the Earth… it was such a wide! I now need to rest my brain and let everything sink in on me before writing up a full review. So many things to talk about, I have no idea where to start and what to talk aboutπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

            • Same! I feel like hyperventilating because so many things happened that I didn’t expect and the explosion at the end?!?! How to talk about it all without spoilers! I have no idea.

            • Me, neither!! As The Pillars of the Earth is such a tome with whopping 1000 page count, there are way too many things happening in the book… it’s next to impossible to talk about everything AND we need to make it spoiler-free! But then we don’t get to gush enough about the book… I’m literally torn and have no idea whatsoevver lol Hyperventilating… indeed!!!

            • My book was a third of your book but it was all kinds of build up to these trials and then there was a couple battles in there culminating in an ending that wasn’t really an ending cause this huge revelation was revealed brilliantly but only if you were paying close attention and I’m just reeling from it all!

            • Oh, the series you shared the other day, isn’t it? The cover with a hot-looking couple… πŸ™‚

            • Yes that is so misleading about what the story is actually about! Omg Noriko it was so fantastic and was the authors’ best wok to date!

            • I’m looking at Goodreads synopsis and wow, it indeed seems rather misleading. The synopsis looks good and it’s got high reviews!!

            • Yes. It’s currently sitting at 4.73/5 with 2500 reviews. That’s insanity for a book! Soon as my brain calms, I’m going to join in those 5 star reviews, lol.

            • Haven’t you ever felt your gut-instinct and impression towards the book change over time? i sometimes do, in fact. Even if I felt a book kind of ‘meh’ right after finishing it, as time goes on, my impression sometimes changes for the better and end up giving a better rating. Of course, the opposite often happens though.

            • I’m glad you said that because I have a lot of the opposites. It’s like while I was reading it I thought it was really good but then when I processed it in my brain, I didn’t think it was that good at all. I don’t feel that way about this series. Not at all. If I didn’t commit to the challenge of not rereading a book at all this year, I’d be reading them all over again from the beginning, hahaha

  2. I like these posts because I don’t follow Facebook at all, so it’s nice to see what someone else that I feel has nice judgement enjoys.

I like seeing your cat and laptop. It reminds me of when my pet parrot would be next to mine.

    • Thanks Cindy. I definitely try to share and enjoy the nicer parts.
Yes, Isabel is something else. She’s a super cuddler but I think we both were busy and couldn’t cuddle her right at that moment so she just sat in eye range like “don’t forget about my cuddles!”

      • My little parrotlet used to sit behind my pillow to my left. He’d just sit there to “be with” as I always called it, but sometimes he’d want attention and climb on my laptop and say “PAY ATTENTION TO ME!” LOL

  3. LOVE that fountain! Oh wow! I’d love to sit by that and read! Your kitty does look a little bored with the content on your computer, but she’s pretty cozy πŸ˜‰ Give her a snuggle for me!

    • Hahahahahahahahaha! I mean if this man is any indication, Robin would have great results πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  4. Oh my goodness that book fountain is EVERYTHING!!!! I definitely think that’s worth seeing one day- if you go you have to take a gazillion photos and make us all jealous!!! hehehhehehe omg that dog helping that hot guy train was hilarious and beautiful at the same time- I love the parts when he was holding down his feet or holding his paws- it was so cute!! hehehe your cat is adorable!!
