Hey, hey! It’s Facebook Friday! It’s also the first day of September and if the weather today is any indication (50 degrees F), Autumn is right around the corner!
Facebook Fridays is a weekly segment of RT where I share some fun stuff I observed on Facebook this past week. I share a fun meme or screenshot, a video that resonated in some capacity and a photo of my own.
🎼🎶”Do you remember the tiiiiime; when we fell in looooove…”🎶🎵
My memeish picture is Michael Jackson meets Disney! It’s also a real T-shirt. I mean come on, who wouldn’t love to see a suave Mickey Jackson performing?? If you like this, just click the picture and it will take you to the link to order this shirt and other merchandise like it including color options!
Next up is my video. I didn’t actually share this on my Facebook page but I thought it was pretty neat and talented. Most people can’t claim to be ambidextrous but this lady took it to a whole new level! See if you can recognize some of the people she’s drawing!
Lastly, I shared a photo of my dried out lavender bunch! If you recall in a previous Facebook Friday post, I shared pictures from a lavender festival I went to. Well one of the cool takeaways was being able to pick my own bundle and take it home. I like to preserve flowers, leaves and other plants that I really like, usually by pressing them. I pressed a couple of springs of lavender but I wanted to preserve the whole bunch. After investigating the Google, I found a method. So that day, I bundled my lavender bunch with a rubber band and then took it into the basement and hung it upside down from the ceiling and let it sit in darkness for weeks. I actually forgot about it until the day before yesterday. I went to get it and it still smells amazing and it preserved its color! This is the picture I shared:
That’s it for this week! In America, we get an extended weekend this week because Monday is the holiday Labor Day. Me and the husband are headed to PA to visit my very pregnant friend for the weekend. I hope you all have a wonderful, safe weekend!
Were you able to identify some of the people the woman in the video was drawing? Did you see anything interesting or fun in your social media this week? Let me know in the comments below!
